powdercoats?

how do you powdercoat rims? i just got some 02 sentra se-r rims from my cousin (free! ) and i want them powdercoated black....

can anyone tell me how to do it?

Take it to the detail shop and maybe they'll do it for you. I have a friend who spraypainted his spoon wheels with red walmart paint (he didnt want people knowing they were spoons). Amazingly, the paint remained glossy for six months. It could be worth a try if youre not sure you want your rims PERMANENTLY colored.

Yea my friend sprayed down his S14's w/some high temp BBQ paint (gunmetal) and they looked the part...you might want to sand them down and put on like 3 coats and maybe a glossy/shiny coat at the end...

It works for ppl on a budget...powercoating the rims is a bit much...just buy nice wheels then!

Very expensive.

You could spend hundreds powdercoating a couple of small engine parts. I have to admit the SR valve cover looks awesome when powdercoated!
