1988 316
I just moved to Naples, Italy (with the U.S. Navy), and I bought a 1988 BMW 316 from a guy that left. The car has no service manual. Any suggestions on what might be the best service manual out there? I've seen a few on the internet.
Also, can any one help me out and possibly tell me what type of bosch oil filter the 88 316 takes? There are no such things as auto parts stores out here, and I'd like to stock up on some oil filters without having to go get some BMW filters at the dealer. Would appreciate anyones help.:sun:

Lotsa luck! I've been trying to find an online manual on my 96 318ti with no success.
You might try Ebay, and if that doesn't work, you might try a weekday drive through the Alps up to Munchen!
