Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge

Has anyone installed one before? If so, where did you tap the line? Did you just put it straight into the oilpan, or somewhere else?

Thanks

`Next to the oil filter on the left is your factory sending unit. That is where you want to go. You won't be able to fit the Auto Meter sendig unit in there, because it will hit the oil filter. You will need to get a small relocatin hose, and screw that into the sending unit hole. Use teflon tape to ensure no leaks. Then put the Auto Meter sending unit on the end of the hose. I used a 24" steel braided line, I got it at a performance shop.
It was only $15.00.

Yo kris..I have the autometer gauge going on the ZC, along with keeping the factory idiot light... so here is what I did....using ideas from Endyne's (aka. The Old One's) site - I plan to run this line to a "T" that is mounted to the firewall, with the OEM sending unit, and the autometer sending unit.

Here is the link to Endyne's article - http://www.theoldone.com/articles/oilpressure/

My pic is a little clearer, but the 913EFZC's diagrams are better. - I am lucky that my shit is out of the car on a stand, but unlucky that I don't have it in yet

Wicked cool yo!

That is a badass idea as well. I'm thinking I may follow endyne's idea as well.

My motor is all but done. I am just waiting for the gasket kit to come in, so I can put the beast together.

Ok...I got a question...do you have to have another sending unit or is that just for the electronic gauges...I got a mechanical gauge and it doesnt say anything about the sending unit
