It should be a WHITE wire, which you can tap into your parking lights and it will work perfect, when u turn on your lights, it will turn on, just make sure that you tap into the right one, so it doesnt blink when u put on your turn signals, cause i'm an idiot and did that

i just checked it and it is tapped. i dont think its a bad fuse cause my parking and plate lights are on. can it be a burnt bulb or something. it was working fine then i noticed it wasn't on when i was driving home at night the other day.

tach

you should be able to get to the bulb from the back of the tach. like a little knob you turn and the bulb will come out.

haha, I can imagine that shit ... if I got a tach I would have a dedicated wire since I rewired my corner lenses so both bulbs blink.

You can get your light source from ANY red w/black stripe wire inside the car. You can go to the dimmer switch, defroster switch, behind the radio, behind the instrument cluster, or any switch that lights up.
