ecu code ?
my motor blew a month ago. so I just installed another d16a6. And when I take off from a start it boggs down then when I give it more gas it starts going normal. The ecu is giving a code 1(oxgen content). so do I just need to repace the o2 sensor.

it could be the oxygen sensor.
also it could be a fuel problem. If your engine is running lean/rich it will set off the oxygen sensor code because the sensor is reading outside of its range. take your plugs out and inspect them. if they are black, you maybe runing rich. if they white, you are probably running lean. check the oxygen sensor with a multi tester. im not sure what resistance it is supposed to be, but your haynes manual will tell. if it is bad, replace it, but if not, i would start by checking your fuel filter, injectors, and fuel pump. hope this helps. |

double check all your sensors. that happened with the sedan. it ended up being as simple fix as switching 2 plugs.

ecu code
do u remember which sensor it was. I had to rewire some of my wires because of being so old and greased up. somewhere I might have switched them around.
