I have a 5zigen miracle fireball cat-back exhaust system on my 99 civic sedan. Instead of the muffler being straight out like an HKS Power or a DC Sport TCS, the 5zigen's muffler is angled about 15 degrees upward and about 10 degrees to the right of the bumper. My girl's muffler (same one as mine but different year '97) is angle about the same upward but 15 to 20 degrees to the right. Hope this helps. :smoker2:

I'll post a pix when i get my dig.cam

yes the 5zigen does sit on an angle. it does not angle out too much like the hks hiper or the apexi n1, but i love the angle of the hks! esp on the supras and 240s. sum people like'm and sum don't it's a matter of taste really, but the hks hiper and apexi n1 systems are bent that way inorder to keep minimal bends for better air flow. the 5zigen u see with no angle are probably because they only had the muffler section welded on to the stock piping or custom piping. hope that helps

its gettin more an more popular here to have the crooked exhaust. at first when i saw it, i hated it. thought it jus didn't fit the cars. but then more an more, i started seein it on actual nice cars, an it sorta grew on me. now if my exhaust was angled, wouldn't really care. i think they can look really nice on some cars, but at the same time, if they go too much to the side, it jus looks lame.

ooo...an yeup, the fireball does sit to the side, but not too much, my buddy had one one his 97 prelude SH, an it looked nice, but too small for that big of a car.

springfield ma eehh.. all my friends in enfield ct are running that slant muffler also..but i am all for that look.
#1 looks pretty badass IMO
#2 it is supposed to make exaust gases expell faster with that slant.(however i think that might just be a rumor),but i dont know what good would come out of it?
