Polish & wax
Do you guys rinse the car body after polishing or waxing it?

Yes; I use a soft-bristled toothbrush to get the residue out of the panel lines while running the body under warm water.

I use Novus #2 plastic polish and also The Treatment model car wax when I can find it. I plan on trying Tamiya wax when I can find it.

Most automotive waxes should work, just be careful not to apply it if there's even any amount of water in the panel lines.... it'll turn opaque white if you do.
