I need some advise

I'm currently trying to build a cooper s and have come to a problem on making the hood scoop(air inlet). I had already drill the holes, but i am confused on making that thing... any suggestion?

I m not that great modeler, but I found out that if you have already the basic holes and you want to make an even wide gap of it, like the intake, just take some 400-grit or so sandpaper and roll it like it makes a quite hard tube that fits in the hole and gently push and pull it out of the gap untill you have the perfect round shape .
as for the contour of the scoop, I don't know, maybe try to put a panel line around it by using an x-acto knife, first very getly then scribing along the lines...

I just built that kit a couple weeks ago, and since it didn't come with the hole for it, I didn't make one......
but yeah, try using sand paper or a file to make it

The hood of the S is a little sticking out, compared to the normal one.
Print the b/w image of the photo above in 1/24 scale, and use tracing paper to transfer the intake pattern to a plastic sheet of approximately 1 mm. That way, you can cut the opening and scribe the surrounding line easily.
Then, cut it out like this...

..., and sand the sides to make the edges a little thinner.
Bend the part with fingers, and glue it on the hood, and fill the gap with putty or super glue.
Then, sand to blend the added piece to the hood.
Hand paint the primer, and sand, so that you can check if the piece is blended smoothly.

another idea for sanding the inside, you may want ot try a nail file, the kind with sandpaper on each side not the metal kind.

Almost!
But it appears to me that the plate is attached a little too tilted, but you got the idea right.
What I meant was like this.

You'll probably need more reference photos, especially from the side.
This one shows the hood well, and the image is big enough.

When modifying a body, it helps if you try to picture the apex or sides of the carve. In this example, you can break down into this.

Red is very simple. Pink is slightly more sides to reduce the amount of filing work.
After determining the flat plane, you have two choices.
Addition: Glue minimum size of plastic sheets, and fill the gaps with putty.
Subtraction: Glue relatively thick plastic sheets, and file and sand to the desired shape. (, which I suggested.)

There's no right answer to this, and it takes some practice to fine your own style, but certainly it's not that difficult.

IOh, and also notice when building this kit, it hasn't got brake disks, so you would have to add them.
