1. Sell your RS or GS
2. Buy a GSX

Thats all you have to do

What he said, it's damn near impossible to convert an RS/GS to a GSX. In reality just sell your car & buy a GSX. If you want to switch it over, do some searching.

HRC Stage2

You are going a little overboard tring to go AWD in a RS. Just get a HRC stage 2 and blow the GSX away.

Yeah right man. A Stage 2 HRC will blow a GSX away? Even stock a GSX would be able to beat a Stage 2. There's no way running 5-6psi will a stock block RS 420a beat a GSX. If that were true, I wouldn't have wasted the money for my GSX.

HRC Stage2

Actually its 8-10psi and 250-275hp. Expected quater mile on street tires is 13.7 @ 103 mph. I didnt know that a stock GSX ran that fast.

Ok so supposedly w/ just a stage 2 turbo kit, an RS/GS that bolts up that kit is going to be cutting that speed/time? I've seen numerous HRC/Star kits that supposedly can run those #'s. Every car I've seen run has been in the 15.5-16.2. I've never seen an RS Eclipse do that. Besides, in order to use that power, well then you need new rims/slicks, suspension for wheel hop, tuning is another key thing, not counting, you've still got an RS. He asked about converting to an AWD system at the start of this thread. your reply was to add a Stage 2 HRC kit. Not the same deal.
On another note, mine is cutting 12.625@112 mph w/ 1.76 60's. Only upgrades, new clutch, ported turbo, turbo back exhaust, boost at 17-19psi on 93 octane. For a grand total of 1000$. Total car price including mod's, 3500$ w/ maintenence stuff. Try that w/ an RS. Not possible.
According to their website, it can be done w/ an RS. I have yet to see one. Thanks for correcting me on having my #'s wrong about the kit.

you put 3000 in that GS and let me put 3000 in my GSX and well see who wins. dont turbo your non turbo, take the 3000 and put it down on a GSX.hell you may even be able to buy a 1G GSX for 3000 somewhere.

the insurance for a gsx is also cheaper than the insurance for a gst or fwd Tsi. Quite a bit too.
