whats up
Ive been lurking around for about a year now, mainly just looking, I just felt like posting and introducing myself.
I own a 89 honda civic DX. right now its in the shop geting painted a nice charcoal color, soon as it gets out its going right back into the shop for a ZC swap, I got a really good deal, only 600 bucks for the motor , ECU and labor. I am currently looking at exhuasts right now and headers for the ZC, if any of you have any suggestions let me know, I was planing on the thermal, but thats just to damn expensive, then I was thinking maybe a flowmaster cat-back system, what do you think? current mods ram air intake with K&N filter plugs custom stained interior new carpet tach not much, but for only having the car for 2 months and its already geting paint and a swap, id say its on a good track. BTW, the stock motor has only 60K miles on it, do you think I could get any money from this thing? |

Hey welcome! For header i suggest u get dc sports? They're one of the best out there. About the exhaust..i would get a custom piping. Cheaper that way.

Dc headers are always good. You might be about to make some money off the dx engine but dont expect too much..Replacement d15's only go for like around $200

IS IT A DX HATCH OR SEDAN?
IF IT'S A HATCH THE APEXi WS EXHAUST IS AWSOME. I ALSO AGREE WITH THE DC HEADER. |

If you wanna get a nice sleeper type exhasut, get the HSK Sport Exhaust because it looks just like a stock exhaust and sounds like one too, but it has 2 1/4" pipeing and it is gains are very good. It is a little costly, but what name brand exhaust isnt? it should cost you around 425-450 depending on where you get it from!
