Unhappy :(

I'm in the modeling mood lately.........we had warm weather earlier today and I got my body of the 67 chevy pickup prepaired for a nice spray of duplicolor red-blue-purple color shifting paint..........what happens int he time i walked into the house from the garage and found my paint, walked back out to the garage? Fog lays down! Then it starts snowing again why can't i get decent weather to paint

way to be encouraging

since the weather has been so cold and icky, I've resorted to painting inside. My parents leave for work about 8am, so at 8:30 I'm out in the living room painting so that the smell might be gone by the time they get home.

The fog on that type of paint will rub out with some compound and a coat or two of clear should take care of it completely

Antonio, I think he is referring to the weather phenomenon known as fog But I could be wrong......

Mentel,
Don't let it get you down, there will be other days you can paint, I am sure.
I built a spray booth for the winter, I ditch it in spring(keep the lights and fans for next year) and spray outside in the summer.
The snow and cold does suck though.....it doesn't seem to be stopping this year.

maybe it's good to look into investing a bit in a spray booth and paint inside?

or u can just do what i do and put a big piece of cardboard along a wall and spray in that room, no need to spend $300 on a spray booth

Spot on! That's what I meant and how I do it to. I don't have a fancy booth at all, but it works

You obviously aren't using the laquers I use!! LOL
I once painted an STP Charger in the bathroom with the fan on, florescent orange was still coming out of the vents when I moved!
This is normally prime painting season here in Florida but even here it's been exceptionally cold (20's!! I know, but it's Florida!) and I haven't been able to lay down one paint job. I have 12 bodies primed and ready...
