2000 chevy tahoe (new body style)

I have bought two new keyless remotes, p/n GM/UTA 15732808 which are what two different dealers confirmed were the right part numbers for my car. I have tried unsucessfully several times following the instructions I have read on this forum. I do the hold the unlock switch down while turning the ignition, release get the confirmation that I'm in the programming mode, but then when I hold in the lock/unlock buttons on the remotes, I never receive the confirmation that the programming was successful. I have verified the batteries and their fine. Can anyone please help me out and tell me what I might be doing wrong.
Thank you.

There are four or five different procedures for you vehicle and only one of them will work. If you could post your vin or PM me I will run the vin and get you the correct procedure. I don't know which procedure you tried but they are vehicle specific and using one that does not match your vehicle could damage the RKE receiver. Just let me know with the vin thanks.

After several tries I was unable to get the remotes proggrammed, so I finally took it to the dealer to have them do it. Well, it turns out there is somkind of electrical problem with my Tahoe. Everythime they tried to do the programming, it would blow a fuse. So now they are trying to find the cause. Just wanted to say thanks for trying to help.
