92 Cutlass Supreme 3.4L DOHC Replacing gas tank and fuel pump

I got this car from my brother-in-law and he already had the gas tank off so I just recently replaced my fuel tank and everything involving it but when i try to start it i found i have a gas leak from one of the hoses from the top of the fuel tank now i didn't find out what 2 hoses are the say non-repairable on them and they go under the trunk i think they are the return line but i can not figure out how to hook them up i have looked every where and no one has told me anything about what those lines are for so i would appreciate it if i could get a little help TY!!!!

Welcome to AF. First you say they are broken ,then you say how do they hook up, which is it, broken or disconnected?, either way the tank must come back out. Your post is difficult to understand, reread it yourself.

Like I said the tank must come back down. Decent info at autozone.com, repair guides, go to the fuel system section look at the fuel pump instructions.

I dropped the tank again and i have a hose that was not connected and i think it goes on those 2 hoses i have told u about i just can't figure out how to hook them up. i have asked autozone about it and they couldn't tell me anything, i bought the manuals and it didn't tell me what those 2 lines are for, i have asked many mechanics and looked on-line but nothing has told me anything about them the fuel pump works but i am guessing i have to have the fuel return hooked up but how do i hook them up if i can't find any info on it i have even called a dealer and they just wanted me to trade it in but i do not have any money pay them i am trying to do this myself but i just am getting frustrated with it. TY

I don't know much about the fuel system my self.

If you can post pictures of the area you are working on, I'm sure the people here can help you further.
