PrePaid Phones?

Welllll im gettin rid of my pagers cuz its crap and the service is done. Not getting cell phone by the month cuz it cost too much. Im stuck with prepay if its any good. Does any1 here have prepay phonez? How is it? I think im gettin AT&T, but my Q is, the cards expire in 45 days... say u still have liek 5 dollars left in the card... if u pay like 1$ will all the minutes renew or do u have to pay like the minimum amount of a new card like 10$? I dont know im lost thanks!

ive been there so many times, im getting sick of the m-life logo. Anyways i just want to know, how much do you have to pay, whats the min. amout so that all your minutes are usable again. Say you have 5 dollars worth of minutes left but they are going to expire in a week. If you add a 1 dollar increasment, do they all come back or do you need to buy a new phone card to get them all back? Im a little confused about that. Any1 that have a prepay phone know??

well when your minutes are about to expire, what do you have to do for cingular? Buy a new card.. or just pay a dollar increasement or something adn get all the minutes you had back with a later expiration date?

I have a prepay with Verizon and it's great. If oyu have to use a lot ofminutes, then go with a plan. if you want a casual use of a phone then prepay is the way to go. All I have to do is buy a prepay card every 2 months and I can buy 30, 50, or 75$ worth of minutes. I can refill any time and I keep all my minutes.

my Q is, when you want to refill to keep all the minutes, do you have to refill by buying a brand new card.. or say you have 8$ left worth of minutes... can u just pay 2 dollars and refill it back to 10$ worth and keep all your minutes. Im getting this idea from the att&t site...

** Number of minutes are based on all minutes being used only for local calling before the expiration date.
*** At select dealers, you can purchase airtime in any amount over $10 in $1 increments. Rates correspond to the next lowest card value.

I have a prepaid phone with Optus, when my time is running out, I just buy more credit and it resets the date. Not really much else to say.

im thinkin that ATT does the same as Cingular does based on their commercials and stuff

you buy the first card and when you need more minutes you just go in and give them...say 50 bucks..and they add minutes and push the expiration date up.

but if its one of those trac fones or the equivalent you have to have the cards and all that crap
