Alright, lets here it. Lets assume the new Z will be at least close to what we have all seen. Who plans on a purchase. What color would you like to see offered. Who plans to wait for the roadster?

I might when I get my inheritence if it makes enough % in the mutual fund I put it in I don't recieve it till aug 2003 just in time though if there is gonna be a roadster I'll sure pop the big whatever for it. Does anyone know if and when they plan to release one and what it might consist of not that a 6 speed 3.5 won't satisfiy my hunger but twin turbos would be a must if offered.

Nissan does have plans to build a roadster version of the new Z. It'll be released about the same time as the coupe version, and it'll probably have the 6 speed 3.5 or the auto 3.5, just like the coupe.

If Nissan can live up to keeping the price at 30k or less and at least 260hp I am definitely getting a coupe version. I'd like to see a midnight blue color or a dark silver/gray color (similar to the S2000 gray color)

If I had the cash, I'd buy a bright red coupe without a moment of hesitation. Unfortunately I'm only 16 and don't have that kinda money. I think I'll be sticking with my good old '87 Nissan Stanza until I can afford a used 6th generation Celica.

I'll take it in a metallic color red/black/grey. Which ever color it comes in.

It'll most likely come in those colors. The grey might be more of a silver color though.

Cool

I'd love to have one . . . I'd like it in the Maxima color: Sterling Mist, or in that Xterra color: Denim Blue . . . or something like that

I'm not a fan of light colored cars. I want one in a deep dark color that has a heavy metallic reflection in the light. I want the reflection to really stick out on those sweet curves. But yes, as soon as it comes in I'm selling my 2001 Eclipse GT and getting a real car.

Would you by a new Z.

Information on the rummer mill has me very excited about the Z from an enthusiast side. One only has to conclude that the new Z will produce about 300 or more hp as a normaly asperated verson with resionable torque, and will be lighter than the current Z32 model. The 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 is rated at 240 hp & 246 ft/lbs and the up comming Maxima 3.5 rated at a rumored 260 - 280 hp, points to these numbers. Additionaly, my local Nissan dealer's owner has mentioned that Nissan is working on a forced induction version for 2003 or 4. Type of induction is still unknown. With this information in mind I'd surly like to buy one. However, one problem remains, GREED! I'm hearing the buzz that Nissan dealers are already planning on a mark up of at least 5k for the new Z. I'm so sick of dealers marking up every new car that makes a statement. It seems that markups are all the rave here in So. Cal, hell they even mark up mini vans, Honda Oddisy anyone. Well, I'll probably wait a couple of years to let the greed subside as I will not pay a markup on a massproduced vehicle. My current Z32 is just fine thank you!

Smile YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!

Just let me tell you one thing, the first thing I am doing after graduating college is taking myself to a nissan dealer in my trusty 240sx and buying a brand new Z. If they have the turbo version available, I'm getting the turbo but either way I am getting a new Z straight out of college.

I appologize in advance but I just find them hideous.
I would much rather buy a used skyline for 35$(r32)
The new style is no style, just a couple of windows on a big oval
with a big smily face bumper

Do you live in Europe or Asia? Here in the U.S. I'm almost positive that you wouldn't be able to find a used Skyline at all. Igor would know, but I think there are less than 10 Skylines in the U.S.

I'm buyin'

Man, i'm in. I'm buyin. I'm going to hold out for convertible form, either in silver or black. I'd like to finally get away from taking care of a black car, but it may look really sweet - tough to pass up...
