Anyone got an opinion on this?

I was on a trip for business. The customer lent me a 2002 BMW to drive. BTW, nice of him to do so and a pretty nice too. Anyways after a couple of days I noticed it had this film on the front end almost like a bra. I asked and he said that it was clear bra he had installed to protect the paint and lights. Pretty cool I thought? I was told he got it from a company called rockblocker.com and he installed it himself.

What does anyone think about this, any opinions?
