I had two...
I traded in my '89 Horizon for a dark green '92 Sundance Duster when they first appeared. 3.0L V6 and a 5 speed. Plenty of low end torque so it would get off the line pretty quick. I fell in love with the car. Unfortunately, I totalled it in a head-on collision in '94, so I bought an almost exact replacement with the insurance money. But happiness was not to be: in '97, one month after I paid it off, a Frenchman accidentally drove it into a lake. They weren't making them anymore at that point, so I started hunting for other cars and that's when I found my RX-7.
But they were sweet cars. Could seat 4 adults reasonably well, good power and torque, and just shy of 30mpg. Even decent in snow with the front wheel drive. I've often thought of getting another. |
