ZC with an auto tranny?

Ok, since the whole head cracking incident I have decided to go with the zc and prolly keep it an auto, for now (i'm broke).

Anyways what tranny can I use?
Will the dx tranny work fine?
What the best tranny to use?
What about the axels, are the stock ones ok?

What ecu can I use and what is the best?

I had an auto ZC.. It moved pretty good, for an automatic Honda I guess. Thats about all that can be said about it.

I used the DX tranny.. Its probably about your only option. There were auto Sis, but they're rare as hell and I really doubt that they had different ratios than the DX.
The DX tranny worked pretty good for quite a while. I realllllllly beat on it, because I loved how quick it seemed (compared to the DX motor that made my car top out at 130 km/h) After a little over a year the tranny developed this problem where it'd just shake a lot when going into second gear if I was driving around slowly.. But, that was probably my fault anyway..
The best tranny to use I would assume would be an actual auto ZC tranny.. But getting ahold of one would be a pain, and I really do NOT know if they are even any different than the DX tranny..
The axles should correspond to the transmission you use.
THE ONLY ECU I would use would be the auto ZC. Just think about it.. A DX ECU just isn't going to cut it.. They never made auto 1st gen tegs, so you're pretty much stuck with auto ZC ECU. It shouldn't be too hard to find, I got mine from the same shop that got my motor.

If you want to see some old pics of it:

I dont know much about the auto tranny. But I would assume that the DX/LX/EX auto tranny should be different. Why not look into one of those?

As for the axles, any will work.
ECU, either a EX auto ECU, or 88/89 Integra Auto ECU (I have one btw)

it not only will not cut it, but it wont work at all. If you try to use a DX ECU in a car with MPFI, you will get a car that starts and runs on two cylinders.

I wish i knew more about ZCs, but trying to find a ZC in the midwest is like trying to find a 40 year old virgin
they dont exist
