si,240sx(s14),integra LS which one?
I'm saving up money to a buy my first car, i've been doing an extensive amount of research but i don't know which one to get. Without being biased which one would be better?
There are 2 dealers near me that offer the new si for under 16,500 the si is heavier and a bit slower than the old one but i'm thinking coilovers and bars and a turbo(if they make a kit) would satisy me.On the other hand i've seen 240sx's(s14) running under $10k(found one for6k) with less than 60kmiles on them and i know with a sr20det swap it can be a hell of a fast car with excellent highspeed auto-x abilities And then there is the cheap LS, b18b,buying forged pistons, rods, and crower cams and valves and it would be an excellent turbo application and with some bars and coilovers it can handle. I know the si would be the most expensive out of the three to insure and would be the most expensive approach out of the three, and s14's are running scarce these days but i'm thinking the integra LS if i can't find an s14. or am i wrong? And what mileage range do u guys recommend when turbo'ing, i'm thinking 30kmiles is perfect. Or am I completely thinking wrong? about all this? But i want TURBO!:flash: |

Go with an original and unique choice, the Nissan. I feel that you will also get much better results for less cash. It just seems the overall better way to go.

go with the 240sx !
nissian is the way 2 go! and if you are going with turbo go with the sr20det, as compared to the b16b,and the ls vtec the sr20det can take more boost in its stock form, i seen it take up 2 14psi with stock internals and boltons and a hi flow fuel pump! nissianis the way 2 go

K first up where do you live? If its a snowy land like me I say go with a integra. If not hit that 240 and turn that baby into a silvia. I own a 96 honda civic cx and in the springI'm doing a b18c swap into it ( gsr swap) with i/h/e and some cams I should be able to hit low 14's. Totally this will cost me about 5000.00 Now if I lived in say Florida find a 240 hatch or coupe get the sr20 swap in there and then as time and money progress build her up. Honda's are played out and expensive but you can a nissan cheap. Don't do the si it really sucks ass. The best new cars are the mazda speed protege ( great handling) the nissan sentra ser spec v and the new great dodge neon srt-4 that comes with a 7 year warranty. Yeah baby

I'm going to have to say 240 also. Nissans are very reliable. It would also be more original seeing as you don't see many modified 240s around. They look amazing with a nice set of wheels and about a 2.00-2.50 inch drop. I love hondas, but you would spend a lot more on a nice integra than you would on a nice 240. My friend got a 94sx in near perfect condition with high highway miles for 4000 bux.
