My car is lower than yours
Too bad yours is cleaner
OK now that I have your attention, x marks the spot where I need your help. I plan to have 2 ducts on each side of the "mouth" feeding air to my front brakes via tubing. Maybe a foglight/brake duct combo, I don't know. Tell me what U think..... |

what i suggest is -- to have that clean look get the factory foglights then take the lens cap of of it and gut it out take out bulb and everything paint the whole thing same color as bumper and will look flush and be the air duct the whole behing the housing i think is sufficient if not just widen it
what do you think?

I think we need some more pics before we can tell you exactly how ugly that air dam is. :finger:
Seriously, you're not REALLY going to put that on your car, are you? It just looks way too plain and straight. You need at least some sort of lip on the bottom. And since the stock G20 has a big-ass grill in the center, i'd plan on cutting away a pretty good sized portion so that your radiator gets enough air. BTW, what is that made of? Is it sheetmetal or fiberglass or what? And how are you doing to mold in the ducts that you're planning to make?

Look what I just photoshopped for ya.
How 'bout somethin' like this? Dropped the stock spoiler 'bout 3 inches. Removed the bars and added your brake ducts in the same style openings as the fogs. Will need the sides done to match the lowered front, though. Cheers. |

I still have days of sanding before I capture the shape I want. Besides any bumper looks good with a 1500$ FORGE intercooler stuffed inside After I get the shape around the whole car, fiberglass will be hand-layed over all the foam, then more sanding....... Killick thanks for the pic, it looks tight. I am trying to keep the front from curving in like the OEM bumper. But the fog/brake duct combo looks hella tight! Cas8_1999 I think I will try the fog light idea, but i'm not about to buy some just to rip them apart. I'll just have to build the basic shape myself. I am building the front kit to the ground, because right before its finished I will slice the bottom off about 3 inches up. This will be made into a lip-kit that drops the front to the ground for shows. Side-skirts and rear will soon follow....... |

Played with the pic a bit. Some subtle stuff ... lowered the car about an inch or so... modified the sideskirt... made the tires a bit wider.
Hope y'all like! Cheers. |
