My Fiero needs a new system, but I'm starting with just the speakers and I want to keep the price under $200 retail for now. I also don't want to destroy the value of the car by cutting it up, so I need a pair of 4x6's and 4x10's.
What good speakers are out there? Can anyone speak from experience? Also, getting good bass with the 4 speakers is important because there's pretty much nowhere to put a sub. BTW, for you non-Fiero drivers out there (i.e. losers ), the 4x6's are in the B-pillars just behind the headrests facing in, and the 4x10's are in the dash facing up.Thanks for your time. |

Re: Help w/ brands, 4x6 & 4x10's for Fiero
funny speaker sizes can be hard to come by with good speakers... Just out of curiosity, is this a ferrari mod?

you could probably put 4" coaxes in the 4X10 slot and 4" or maybe 5 1/4" coaxes in the 4x6 slot. They will sound MUCH better because, like Haibane said, odd sizes are hard to find and typically low quality.

how would it be possible to fit 5 1/4 speakers in a 4x6 slot?

sometimes they are a little smaller ... but I was thinking of the 6" part and not the 4" part when I was writing it
