whooped a dodge stratus... accidentally!

OK, so I'm just minding my business, driving down the road beatin' my subs to the Beasties and I pull up to this 96, 97ish stratus. The guy in the car was young and he had a passenger. He kept looking over nervously like I was already intending on racing him. Hadn't revved my engine or anything, but I did have my undercar lights on. So the light turns green, I take off somewhat quick but normally. Then I look over, still somewhat suspicious that the dude thinks I'm racing him. He does. He's grabbing the wheel, looking over and flooring it. I laughed before I stopped econoclutching and pulled back into second and got at least 4 car lengths before he laid off. He pull sup to me, rolls down the window, gives me a nice thumbs up and a smile and drives off.

Yeah, those 4 cyl Strati are a joke. Nice kill, at least he wasn't an ass about it. I wish there were more people like that around here.

GAWD! I honestly think that's only the SECOND time someone has EVER even given a thumbs up on a race around here. When I was still stock I raced some stuck up gaf in a duster (I'm pretty sure I've told this before) and stomped the flaming shit out of him.
He pulls up next to me and just starts SCREAMING and cussing and yelling that he was gonna kick my ass and that his car was still cooler than mine and on and on and on.... He had a dark green duster 91' duster (same as one of my friends, thats how I know) w\ "Duster" written on the side (from the factory), there was rust on the back around the (stock) tires... He didn't actually have anything on his car, he just assumed that since he could drive (his automatic) he could race. And he just bitches and bitches until I burn him again when the next light turns and drive off. Bastard actually tried following me... but that didn't last long.

Around here, It's either people getting really pissed about losing and ALWAYS threatening to "Whoop my ass" because they lost, after the race they do the "ricer flyby", or they absolutely REFUSE to look my way for ANYTHING. The refusing to look my way is a direct result of all of the people getting pissed off or being dicks though. Some of the time I won't look at the other drivers either. If I win and the next light's red I sometimes won't look at them. Nobody around here can just SAY "nice race". It's always the same thing: Since I lost at racing to you because I suck balls, I'll just try to overcompensate by saying I'm going to kick your fucking ass because I'm insecure and I know my car's shitty.

I retain my statement that everybody on AF around here should move out to Montana where there are no speed limits and we can all race all day and not be afraid for our sweet unraped (well most of us) asses.

its jus a normal thing i guess. last week, i raced a mid-90's prelude, an pulled the shit outta him top 2nd, an all through 3rd. I slowed down, because he wasn't even the person i wanted to race (me an my frien w/ an LS-VTEC were driving to race spot), an he zooms by (he gave me a thumbs up before the race tho). atleast he didn't curse or nothin. its still funny to hear the guys that get mad tho...til someone throws some shit at my car...then its on.:finger:

Nice Kill. Its so nice not to have sore losers. BTW i heard that in Montana they reinstated the speed rules because everyone from out of state just came to have fun going as fast as they could.
