COMPLETE: Bill Elliott's 87 Daytona Winning T-Bird

I just finished this curbside build for one of my very good friends. He was a huge fan of this body style T-Bird & Bill Elliott. His dad also had a 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. I used a Monogram kit with Mike's decals...I forget the company. The contingencies are from the spare decals box. There are a few missing, but for the most part it's pretty accurate. The paint is all Tamiya, including the clear. it's a little too cold to be shooting 2 part around here.

Enjoy!

As a "non-fan" of Nascar I can honestly say that I loved the late 80's car styling. This is a really well done build. I would be honored to have this built for me. Great job!!!!

Aesome job Jay! I was going to ask you about this build the other day.....

I like that you weathered the net! And the wheels came out fantastic!

THAT'S a build!! As a former TC owner, that's my favorite Nas-CAR ever. You definitely did it justice! Here's my address....

Great job Jay, i was only looking at the 88-89 season review and was thinking of doing a Mark Martin version, yours makes me want to start one even more now.
