Re: s2k wip

that's a fine looking piece

pulling off those dark rims is not an easy task, you seem to have it down so clap for that.

It'd be cool to see a better pic or scan if you get a chance to

one thing you might consider is taking advantage of the media options that are open to you. Youcould just make the windshield banner thing blue and do your text in Photoshop or Illy. Get your digital file spit out on some nice paper and the methods merge. Hand lettering is tough. You do a fine job though so...just throwin it out there.

Looking forward to the final.

thanks man, thats a really good idea im going to do that with the banner. what are your suggestions on me getting a better upload. ive tried scanning my stuff before but it comes out looking horrible and hanging it up and taking a pic doesnt come out much better. i see some people on here with their art posted that looks like it was magically stuck on the monitor!

Re: s2k wip

hmm

could be "get a better scanner" time

try scanning at a higher resolution 300 dpi is always good.

Makes a large file but you need the quality.

My scanner is a HP Scanjet 3970 it cost like $150 I think

you can get a decent scanner in the $60 range now...it'll die in 18 months but then you just go get another one for $60

what scanner do you have right now?

do you have photoshop?

Nice! I think it looks damn good! The reflection /glare on the drivers window looks cool. The wheels and the headlights are excellent also.

Re: s2k wip

Nice. I'm really digging the Spoon rims. As for scanner goes, I also have a HP and it's 4 years old. >_< I'm looking into buying a new one pretty soon and I've got my eyes on these two.

Epson V200

Epson V500 (Scans up to 17x22" paper so it's handy. =D
