Drain petcock

What is the easiest way to remove the drain pet cock out of a 2000 bravada? and is there a special tool to use?

Re: Drain petcock

No special tool, just unscrew it. It will not come all the way out. When it stops unthreading, just pull straight out. It will move outward about one half inch.

Re: Drain petcock

Here is a link that shows the plug: http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...rtNumber=61133

You might need to remove the black plastic shield that covers the oil filter area so you can access it better. There are about 6 15mm bolts that hold the shield on. Hope this helps.
