Exclamation 00 Full Stereo Install!!??!!

Alright so I wnat to install all new stereo stuff in my 00 Xterra.

Tell me what im in for. Can I do it myself? did you do it? What did you do? anything will help!!

ya man its easy. I am doing it RIGHT NOW lol. i have a 2000 x basic 5 speed manual 2wd. well i just pulled the factory head and now im wiring my amp and subs into it. shouldnt be too hard. are u using a new head unit?

Jl Audio makes perfect speakers for the front and they also make a stealthbox subwoofer enclosure that is desgned to blend in nicely with your xterra. check our this link.

Hello. I would also like to install a new speaker system for my 17 year old in his 2000 XTerra for Christmas. I need a lot of help. Can someone give me some information. Where do I start? What do I do? What price range am I looking at? I know his front speakers are need replaced and he's wanting something in the back. PLEASE help me.This mother hasn't a clue how to help her son. Thanks!

This post leaves a ton of directions. You can get speakers ranging in price from 20 dollar wal-mart special to 1800 $ a pair MB Quart from Germany. I would not really go bellow $500.00 for a system . This would get you a nice clean Alpine head unit (my favorite brand) A ipod nano for all of the music to be stored on . and 4 nice JL audio speakers. Go to www.crutchfield.com I think they have great service and they will send you visual directions with pictures on how to do the complete install .
