code 32
my k-1500 5.7liter gives me a code 32 almost every morning at roughly the same place(distance) checked out the egr valve and sylinoid works fine what's up? thanks Don.

How did you test them?
Do you have good vacuum at the TBI going to the EGR solenoid? Does the EGR solenoid hold vacuum (TBI side)? Make sure the vacuum hoses are in good shape and do not leak. //2000CAYukon |

I actually swapped egr and solenoid from another engine, but did not check for good tbi vacuum. Going to check later tonite

just checked T.B.I.vacuum seems good.solenoid holds on T.B.I.side and all lines are good

Don't have access to the code definitions here at home... sounds like probably no/low flow? Make sure the passage isn't filled up with carbon if that's the case.

If you push on the EGR diaphram (caution is will be hot), does the idle change? If not, the passage is probably blocked.
The other possiblity is that there is an electrical problem between EGR solenoid and ECM. //2000CAYukon |
