Bosch Platinum 4+'s

I just wanna warn anyone thinking bout buying the Bosch Platinum 4+'s . This came highly recommended at a shop I went to, but dont buy them. I had mine on my GS-R for about 3 months and they are already fouled and caused other problems. It just caused alot of headache . Just a warning.

Did the ceramic fail or what was the problem exactly? What were they gapped to? I have never used them in my teg because I like NGK's so much, but I have used them in other vehicles with no problems.

No they just got real nasty and fouled to the point they wouldnt spark. At first my car bogged down on hard acceleration, but I thought it was my clutch. Then just quit. They come pre-gapped.

Even though they're pre gapped, you should gap them yourself.

Well it said no gapping necessary, but I guess you are right. They were just kinda confusing to gap though, the prongs weren't placed in the conventional way. They were all to the side.

really? i've had mine in for over almost 2 years now and havent had a problem with them. but yeah, you're not supposed to gap them, since they are 4 prong and are supposedly set.
