Re: turbo question?

You can eliminate your MAF by using a GM MAF and Translator and put it in your upper intercooler pipe... But I would not suggest running without an air filter at all... Wait till something gets into your turbo that way...

Re: turbo question?

The only gains of running no air filter is a slightly faster spool time right?

Re: turbo question?

It would probably be a good idea to at least put a wire mesh screen over the inlet. It's not going to prevent little bits of sand and dust, but would prevent decent sized debris from getting in. I would hate to drive through a deep puddle or a flooded road though. Goodbye engine.

Dude, why would you want to do that? Thats the worst idea ever. The only thing people have to gain by doing that is theres no restriction on the air going into the turbo, but then you also get all the awesome dust going in there, and oh yeah, probably a high peformance leaf! That would do wonders for your motor! Ha ha, but seriously, just leave the fucking filter on.

Also, you need to start posting in the correct subforums.

LMAO After that leaf when throught the turbo it would be turned into dust. Sounds like a fun experiment.
