i can honestly vouch for that.
my 03 is still on stock injectors, got a little over 380 miles on from a fillup on a return trip from pittsburgh.mind you, our fuel tanks can fit around 11 gallons if you really top it off.
just keep your toes out of the turbo and keep your speed to 65-70 mph and you can pull off incredible mileage.

Re: 2003 Mpg

I can get 37-38 mpg highway if I really work the throttle.

Re: 2003 Mpg

I have an 05 but I have a fuel controller and big injectors so I can control my mpg(somewhat).

Re: 2003 Mpg

If I keep my r's at 2,500 or less on the highway (69mph or less), my `03 gets about 34mpg.
