2006 Chevy aveo radio install

I just bought a cd player for my chevy aveo and I have no clue on how to take the old fm/am radio out.
Any feedback?

the plastic strips on either side of the console pop off with some prying... be careful not to break them though. After that it's pretty standard.

I would just pay the $30 to get a pro to do though honestly.

easy with the screw driver tho, first try it with a credit card or something similar...

Bought stock aveo radio off ebay, one with cd/mp3 player, installed in 5 minutes, just pry off those two side pieces down low that come to a point sort of be gentle and they pop off. 4 phillips head bolts later radio is out. i put back in new radio and had code trouble and used this thread got a code . less than 45 minutes total and 80 bucks total for radio and it was installed programmed and playing perfectly. Thanks guys for the code info stealership wanted 65 dollars for code. thanks again
