CLimate Control cluster/Auto headlights not working

A few days ago, I noticed that my headlights did not come on as they normally do. They then clicked on, and went back out a few times as if trying to come on, I dont know where the sensor is to chk it. I can use the manual light switch w/ no problem so thats not a serious issue. HOWEVER,..... Also this morning when I started my car, my Climate control was totally off, (and I live in Michigan, so it was 'bout 35 degrees) so I needed to warm the car up. I have no idea what or where to check.....Any Help?????

Re: CLimate Control cluster/Auto headlights not working

Had the same problem with my 98. Turned out to be the ignition switch. I tore the old one apart and it had a couple of burned contacts. Everything works like new now. Also affected the cruise control. Hope this helps.
