New AC Compressor
Okay, this summer my ac compressor went bazook, fried. I went to a junk yard and picked up a used one, but once I put it in it had the wrong connection to the existing hoses. So I hooked it up without the hoses just so the engine could run, but no ac. Well, I have the funds again I'm getting a another one which I can hook up the hoses to. My question is are there differences in the ac compressors for the 97-01 models. The one I pulled out of my jeep was a 709D Model. Are there different numbers to worry about, or no. I found one on ebay, but can't really read the number very well and can't reach the seller. It looks exactly the same. Thanks for the help.

Re: New AC Compressor
There were more than one compressor used on these Jeeps. You will need to make sure that you get the correct manufacturer and model.

Re: New AC Compressor
Hmm... shouldn't a dealer be able to look up the VIN# and get that info?
