I baught some of those decal sheets...

I baught some of those dcecal sheets you can print on, now how the heck do I use them? The guy said you have to have a laser jet printer, any other printer would just print black, I don't mind black, so I just put these sheets in my printer and print away? this is exaxtly what is says on my printer:

HEWLETT PACKARD DESKJET 682C

Anyone with computer/decal printing knowledge that can help me out?

dude, I think you need to have a ALPS printer, or laser color printer or laser printer (only black) for the decal sheet you bought. For Inkjet printer, I think it would be fine, just try to print a small portion on the decal sheet, then if it is fine, spray VERY THIN Clear Coat on it. It must be very thin, as it may spur the ink on the decal sheet.

Hope you success.

did you buy the type of decal sheet that's specially designed for inkjet printer?

Regular decal sheet won't work with inkjet ink.

Aw crap, it says " this paper is designed for the ink jet printers"

The guy at the hobby store who sold them to me said it might wotk in a copy machine, or "zerox" or something. It also says to spray some "decal film", dumb question but... can I use clearcoat instead?

A gloss clear-coat will work. Just be sure to first spray a nice mist to seal the ink before wetting the whole thing. Otherwise the ink will run on you.

you have an ink jet printer so you could print it from there. you could xerox it if you wanted to but it isn't necessary
