Well from what I know all an Acura is, is an overpriced Honda. So I can't image it being that expensive to maintain or fix. I really can't speak on the differences between the two, but I can offer a little bit of advice. If you’re worried about the cost to maintain a BMW maybe you should think about getting a different car. Usually people who purchase a BMW, purchase them because of the fact that it’s an excellent engineered automobile. BMW spends a lot of time and money on each car before it’s shipped out to sell and the consumers recognize the commitment that BMW has to excellence. Also if you decide to purchase a BMW make sure it has been certified by a local BMW dealership. As far as which one will last longer depends on the owner before and present. If you keep up on the maintenance and take care of your vehicle any vehicle will last a long time.

to tell u the truth, acura isnt a overpriced honda.....its like saying lexus is a overpriced toyota......about your question, i would recomend a ACURA. most likely because it will run long....i just bought a BMW and it broke right away and im shocked at home much i have to pay to fix it.....i agree BMW is a nice car, but when its someones else.......but if u buying a car from a dealr, then i guess u can get a bmw, but make sure u got warrnty

Same company, different name...

Toyota = Lexus. It's upscale, yes, but not the same as Toyota...

And I'm really gutted about your BMW problems...but dude...I hate it when people preach their negativity...

Hard to compare such different cars. Do you really need a huge car like a 7 series?

Depends...

If your needs can fit a want, why not if it's affordable? Did I need a V12 motor at the age of 21? Realistically? No...but I wanted it, it was cheap, and the car does take care of my needs...

It's all up to the person who's buying. But there again, one man's knowledge is another mans opinion.
