firing order on Linked '99

ok, so i cant get my 99 to fire up, i changed the computer today, to the linked 95 eprom (i was told it was in working order uppon purchase and it better sure as hell be!) i swapped 4 with 3, and 1 with 2, and the car just cranks, the DSMlink chip is burned for 950cc fic injectors, which are installed on the car... all lights on the dash work, and it turns over, but no firing... just keeps cranking, i have fuel pressure, but not sure about the injectors (i'm sure they are giving fuel they are brand spanking new!) then i put the plugs back to the oem place thinking maybe, just maybe for some reason mine wouldnt be switched... nothing happened... can someone explain to me from the cam side of the block, the order the plugs need to be hooked up!?!?!

Re: firing order on Linked '99

Yea you should check to see if your getting any spark. Just take a plug out and hold it in your hand and put the plug wire back on it. Have a friend turn it over. You will know if your getting spark or not.

Yeah, dont listen to Silvr's silly ass, you would not be a happy camper. Just gound it on the valve cover or something and watch for a spark.

Re: firing order on Linked '99

Is the fuel pump turning on? If you have spark and compression, the only thing you're missing is fuel.

Re: firing order on Linked '99

i was talking to my dad, and he said sometimes new injectors come with a cap on them to protect shit from getting in? is this true? because if so... no wonder i dont have fuel... i never took any caps off... i have FIC 950's from extremepsi.com... dont know if that makes any difference?

Re: firing order on Linked '99

what? they do have caps??? are you serious!?!?! because they are already on the car... and dont wana take it appart again if its not going to solve anything... also, dropped that little black spacer from the fuel rail to the block, the one in the middle, and its fallen to the depths of the endless engine compartment, and was wondering if it would mess anything up if i just didnt use one in the middle of the rail?
