94 Villager Transmisson Problem
This is a repost but i really need help... My 94 villager had it's battery arced bc of a loose ground to the engine block. After that the tranny stayed in high gear or constantly overdrive gear not sure which and quit shifting, or would sometimes decide it would shift hard once in a while. The O/D light wouldnt turn on or off so i replaced it the transmission computer. O/D now turns on and off now but the tranny still wont shift. When i turn the key on the O/D light blinks meaning the the transmisson computer has a fault code , but the check engine light does not come on so there's no fault in the seperate engine computer. Is there any way for me to retrieve it like retrieving the PCM fault codes with the check engine light? Does anyone know where to start? Thanks for your help. Im stuck?!

Im Very Familiar With This Car First Check The Selenoid Terminal Located Next Tothe Starter Motor It Has A Red Or Orange Color Make Sure Its Plugged And Locked .

Re: 94 Villager Transmisson Problem
ok you probably have to try more than once to retrive codes from your transmission follow the steps 1 move the selector lever to p positionturn switch to on position check if the od indicator lampcome on or for about two seconds or blinks if yes, switch off but not lock (2) move selector lever to d position (3)press and hold transaxle gear continue to hold (4)car switch on wait for more than two seconds after ignition switch on (keep holding transaxle gear selectionswitch od button in). (5)mve selector lever to 2 position(keep holdingtransaxle gear selection button in(6)release transaxle gear section switch od button(7)press and release switchod button(8)move selector to 1 position(9)press and release transaxle switch od button(10)depress acceleratorpedal fullyand release it checkod lamp for codes .each code is represented by 10 flickers of the od light the way to find out the problem is by watching in wich of the ten flickers you see one longer than the others for instance if you have tha ten flickers and the third flicker is lnger than the others you have a throttle position sensor circuir short or disconnected ok first flicker longer vehicle speed pulse generatoe problem second flicker longer means also pulse generator short or disconnected 4th judgmentflicker longer shift selenoide valveshort or disconnected 5th flicker longer shift selenenoide valve short 6th flicker longer over run clutch selenoide valve circuit short 7th is torque converter selenoid valve short or disconnected8th is fluid temperature sensor is disconnected or at control unit power source circuit damaged 9th engine speed signalcircuit short 10thline pressure selenoide valve circuit short circuited or disconnected . dont give up im sure you can fix it let me know if you get a code and i tell yo what to do remember each code is represented by 10 flickers of the of lamp you probablyhave to practice several times until you get it right
