Ok so my buddy just gave me an 89 Acura Integra LS cus hes moving...while he had it I helped fix a bunch of stuff but theres a few things I can't figure out yet. First the brake lights are always on so I have to keep the fuse pulled out so the battery does not drain. Next the shifter is super sloppy, the car has 206,000 miles so I can understand it should have some wear...does anyone know what style shifter and what not is down there in these cars? Is it hard to change bushings out to clean the slop up? Maybe a whole new shifter or something? To get it into first gear it really has to be pushed to the left all the way and same thing with reverse. Lets see, is there an adjustment for the throttle cable? The gas pedal is very touchy and leads to stalling out easily. Either you barely touch it and it doesn't rev or just push it a little harder and it like passes the point of resistance and I end up revving it to like 3 or 4k and bangin into gear. I have not had time yet to look at that. Ok heres another question...the rear wiper does not mvoe at all and the washer nozzle does not let anything out. I didn't find another switch or anything for it...does it work with the regular wipers or what?
