Cost of replacing timing belt under $200??

I don't remember now where I had gotten it, but I had the notion that having a shop replace the timing belt on a '95 Villager/Quest would run $600-$800. Consumer Guide says under $200 for either V or Q (not including the might-as-well water pump). Does anyone know if this is true? Except for brakes, the other figures here seem to reflect reality.

Consumer Guide® Estimated Repair Costs
This table lists costs of likely repairs for comparison with other vehicles. The dollar amount includes the cost of the part(s) and labor (based on $50 per hour) for the typical repair without extras or add-ons. Like the pricing information, replacement costs can vary widely depending on region. Expect charges at a new-car dealership to be slightly higher.

Item Name Repair Cost

A/C Compressor $345

Alternator $420

Automatic Transmission or Transaxle $555

Brakes $270

Constant Velocity Joints $615

Exhaust System $265

Radiator $505

Shocks and/or Struts $544

Timing Chain or Belt $185
