one question tsi200sx i saw a 200SX SE V6 in queens once and i thought it was a fake. now that i saw your ride, there really was a V6 200SX? if its V6 why would it still be called a 200sx? i've never heard of a v6 that small. just curious.

it uses the VG30E motor, like in Maxima's of that era and no turbo Z31's

A v6 came stock in certain 200sx trims. They didnt bother to change the name to 300sx

I'm on freshalloy but like the format here better. Oh well, next time.
Yeah guys, the SE V6 does exist, my website has mucho pics of mine and others along with complete specs. They didn't build too many, about 5000 cars in 1987 and 5000 in 88. I think there were two reasons they still called it 200SX, A) 300SX sounds too much like 300ZX B)They didn't feel the need since the 82-83 200SX had a Z22E and the 84-86 200SX Turbos had a CA18ET, so it wasn't the first time the name didn't match the displacement. |
