My new Toys...Pics (56K...sorry)

Welp, been a while since ol' Civ started up a thread. If you've taken a look into my sig, you'll notice that I traded my Spyder, and got myself a few new toys. So, I figured that once I got a few good pictures, I would post them up for my fellow AFers.

Here they are. My 4 Wheeler is a 2003 Bombardier DS 650 Baja. Not too many hours on it and a freaking blast!! I love being on the rez. Only place where I can drive on the roads and not be hassled by the cops on a 4 wheeler. Quite a few trails around too, so it doesn't get boring.

The truck. 1988 Chevy Pickup. Converted to a stepside a few years back. The last owners did all the work that you can see in the pictures below. Painted a nice red paint, with a silver accents like the roll bars in the back, the sidesteps, and the little Chevy Emblem on the grille. It's got a 3" Lift, 33x12.5" Yokohama tires, brand new 350 with about 20 miles total. Never been driven. It was trailered everywhere for little shows, and was never sold. The guys who built it told me they spent about a total of $14,000 just to get it the way it is now. I like it!! Sorry for the babbling, so here's the pics:

OH, and in case you guys are wondering, these pictures were taken at my cousins house. The blue 4 wheeler belongs to another cousin, and the SeaDoos belong to my cousin at which who's house my toys are at...errr...yeah. Hope you enjoy. Comments are more than welcome!!

Needs new tires, have fun spending $800 on those Yoko's.

It's nice, but I just don't think it was worth the Eclipse.

Re: My new Toys...Pics (56K...sorry)

It's ok Matty. Just because I traded the Eclipse doesn't mean I won't be getting another vehicle in the near future . I would hope to own the truck and the wheeler when I do buy my next car.

Oh, and those Yoko's...I have a brand new set already that came free with the truck...hehehe

As I look at it, I got about a $20K deal for a $10K car. Even still, I may have these to toys for now, but there's always someone around here looking to buy anything.

If I do sell them, it will go right towards my next vehicle.

SL3000GT, whachya got worth racing?

No...I traded MY Eclipse for what I have now...

I haven't done anything wrong. Plus, I got bored with it. I started to see too many Eclipses in town. So, I decided that I wanted to get rid of it.

I like to be different, and I also don't like the idea of little 16 year olds driving similar cars to me. So I'm seeking out something a bit more pricey, stylish, and made to withstand the performance that I plan on throwing at it...

That is one sweet lookin bike. Your 3000GT looks exactly like the one my neighbors had when I was in the third grade except for the red calipers. Must of been like '92 or '93. I used to LOVE that car. The guy liked to get on it a little when he was leaving the house. Nothing really compared to it back then. I was a little dissapointed when I found out it wasn't "ferrari fast" The SL does look better than the VR4 IMO

Try not to hijack the thread...but, besides that. Do you mean the 3000GT looks better than the Stealth?...Because the SL and VR4 are the same damn car, with a few minor differences cosmetically.

My dad had the same exact SL. White with a decent set of rims, intake, exhaust, and a nice little cd player. Just sold his red 98 SL, too.

Anyway, back on topic.

And Joshy...you can bet, knowing me, that the next car I get will definitely be cool.

Re: My new Toys...Pics (56K...sorry)

I have never seen a VR4 that had the clean look of the early SL. Maybe I just haven't seen one that was stock. I dislike later 3000gt's. BTW I didn't hijack the thread, I am just an accomplice.

Back on topic. Lawn looks like it belongs to a redneck.

You might be a redneck if your swingset has 2 trucks, 2 jet skis, and 2 ATVs parked beside it in the yard.
