Anyone know where i can find some calipers?

Hello, I'm lookin to redo my brakes (for those of u who havent heard). I want to do the rear disc swap and i read u should get new calipers. So i went to nopi to check prices and i found each side rear caliper for $60, not bad. Then i noticed each one's core charge: $70 each!!! Thats freaking crazy, its more expensive than the calipers themselves. So basically i wanna know is do i really need new calipers and if so, can i find them with a cheaper core charge? Thanx in advance.

Try a local parts store, they may be cheaper.... and try the the junkyard where you buy the trailing arms, they may sell/give you the calipersthat were on the t. arms. If those calipers dont work they would make good cores atleast...

Ok, lets say i get the calipers, how would i go about sending them in? Would i have to package it and send it b4 i get the new ones, or afterward? I really have no idea how core charges work.

Dude any auto parts stores wil have them. Pep Boys (maybe you should stay away), Autozone, Napa, whatever. All should have them. It will cost you like $300 for them, but then just bring the old ones back and they will give you like $150 back. If you don't have old ones guy buy some at a junkyard for $10 each and return those in the boxes.
