High altitude problems

Just got back from a 4000 mile trip in the 1989 98. Car ran perfect except through the 10-12000 mountain passes in Colorado where it experienced major loss in power. Has anyone else experienced this in their 98.

This will happen to any car, very little o2 at that altitude, normal.
