I Need Heat
91 C1500 5.7
I have no heat. I had checked the heater core it is not leaking, it is not clogged, and gets very hot. I have checked my coolant it is not low. My blower works. My A/C works perfect. Been looking at it so long I need a fresh ideas on what could be wrong. Thanks in advance for the help. |

Re: I Need Heat
Maybe it is the heater valve stuck closed.

Re: I Need Heat
Heat is controlled by the "Temp Door Actuator". This actuator moves the door which controls how much air is sent to the heater core.
I had to remove my glove box and tape deck (middle of the dash) to replace mine when it went bad on my 90 GMC K1500. The actuator is available from ac delco (which means you do not have to get it from a dealer). Go to www.acdelco.com for nearest parts store or buy it from www.rockauto.com //2000CAYukon |
