Torque Converters

I am a part of S&M Racing here at Lorain Speedway, we run the Spectator Stock divison and everyone on the team runs Berettas' or Cavailers, and we were woundering what the best torque converter would be for a 3.1L and 2.8L to have the right grab out of the corners. Also we have to run stock motors, but I was wondering is there anyway we can get more power out of them with out being to obvoius?
