Argh! Hobby World

JUST GREAT!

i made an order, then i told them to cancel it LONG LONG TIME ago, and i guess they don't understand english or something because like their faq says, send an e-mail to this address with ur invoice # and they'll cance it... but if u don't click on the e-mail link which contains a japanese subject, they probably won't understand what you want to do

now i'm probably stuck getting 2 shipments of almost the same things!! ARGH!

should i call my credit card company and tell them to refuse the charges for the first order?

this is totally their fault, i ordered on friday night, and i sent them the e-mail, so they had all weekend to process it or at least when tehy started business again on monday..

I made an order with them a couple of months back now and i had a good experience. I conversed with them via email too, their response was prompt and they sure understood english! I would try to sort it out with them b4 contacting your card company, you may get some freebies for the trouble You could always sell the unwanted stuff on! What did u order?

well i hoep they contact me and sort it out!

i ordered 3 sets of Blitz BRW Type 03 Rims and a set of Andrew Racing Dish rims.

i told them to cancel it, and then i ended up ordering a bigger order including those rims..

so i don't want to be stuck with so many rims!

DJMR2 - according a post you made a while ago, you live in Toronto, right? (correct me if i'm wrong) i live in a small town just outside of Brampton, and, if you want to, i'd be willing to buy any set's of BRW-03's that you wouldn't want. just name a (reasonable) price and i'd for sure buy them. i love those rims and can't find them ANYwhere in Toronto, and need to wait to get a good sum of money before making an HLJ or Hobby Search etc. purchase, so i'd be really happy if you'd want to sell them to me. is it just those rims, or are there any more as well that you wouldn't be wanting? hit me back with a PM or a reply. thanks alot dude!

well i'll see if they screw up my order or not , i'd sell them for how much i got it + shipping, i think that's pretty fair

but anyways, still gotta wait and see, they better reply to me! or i'll be mad!!!

ARGHHH

so hobby world decides to send me my shipment after 4 notices of cancelling my order.

I placed the order on the 15th of Nov , requsted it to be cancelled on 16th of Nov, and now i get a shipping notice that it was sent.

great great great...

i made another order after i told them to cancel, with some same stuff.. now i'll have too much... I will try and request them to cancel that order, but i highly doubt they'll listen this time either.

Anyways, I will never do business with them again. NO E-MAIL REPLIES OR ANYTHING. what will happen if i make a big mistake and order alot of things.

So... what do u think i should do? call VISA and dispute it?

My experience with them is the complete opposite. Yes, they're a bit *slow* in some aspect in responding to my inquiries regarding my order. But I found them to be very corteous (sp?) and friendly in our communication. The rep named Mr. Saeko Suzuki, did you get the same guy?.

wooooooo hoooooooooo

ok so Mr. Suzuki, sends me a message after my first order is received and he is the only one that seems to respond to messages..

I explain to him my situation, and he offers to remove the duplicate items and give me a discount of 1000 yen off the rest of the order..

so, it's a acceptable resolution, since now i dont' have to pay their service charge for another order and it makes the shipping cheaper.

so... will i order again? maybe, if they have stuff i can't get elsewhere.
