1971 Datsun 240Z

This was built from an Arii 'Owners Club' 1:32 scale kit, it was very cheap but I am quite pleased with the result. I lowered the ride height, used wheels from a Scalextric slot car kit, added BMF, mesh for the grille, Sakatsu Headlights, P/E wipers, made my own seat belts from the metal on the top of a wine bottle and used Kevlar decal on the seat backs. I also painted the black rubber surround on the BMF around the windscreen which was very difficult!

Wow, that's 1/32?! Great job, it came out terrific. Spectacular results, from what I'm sure wasn't a great kit. The Watanabe's look spot on. Nicely done.

Is the lip moulded onto the kit or was it custom made? It looks amazing! The flat black on the hood makes the whole car stand out too! Man I gotta get me one of these!

Thanks for the comments, the lip spoiler is moulded in. If I was to build another I think I would leave off the bumpers for a cleaner look. A bit more like the blue one in this link:
