1988 Honda Accord DX Door Ajar Chime!!!
The "door ajar" chime and dash warning light come on when the weather is hot. The chime is driving me to distraction since it only goes off when the car cools down. When I remove the module that controls the chime, my tailights are disabled! Any help would be appreciated.

Im assuming by "module" you mean the door switch that is in the door jamb and covered by a rubber boot? maybe go to a junkyard and snag a module off another car and try that?

no the module is a black box under the dash and it houses the chime hence the noise and i would replace it like greenblur said
