Impala rear strut mount removal
Hey guys,
I don't know if anyone here has a 2000 impala. I need to replace the strut mount, but I haven't even taken a look at it yet. Will I be able to remove it without removing the struts? steps: 1. I loosen the strut mounting bolts from the trunk 2. I jack the car up but keep the wheel barely touching the ground 3. Do I have to remove the strut to pull out the mount? 4. Reassemble and lower vehicle. is there anything I should watch for? Will I need a lot of torque to remove the strut from the lower linkage?

try the impala forum.
most of them have newer impalas although i am not sure how much traffic there is in there.
