Does the music you listen to depend on the car you drive?

Just wondering if anybody else listens to certain types of music in certain vehicles. I usually listen to 80's rock in my firebird, and country or oldies in my truck.

Nope. I listen to alternative/rock in the maro, the pickup, the buick and whatever the hell else I feel like driving.

I listen to music because I like it.

I listen to all kinds of music, it doesnt matter what im in. I enjoy pulling up to stop lights rocking out to "Metallica - Shortest Straw" cranking out 800 watts RMS to my kicker 12's. Even folks who only listen to pop/rap jam with me at the lights

Re: Does the music you listen to depend on the car you drive?

Yes,

When I am driving my Nissan Sentra: I listen to techno
When I am driving my 1993 Camaro z28: I listen to rock or oldies
When I am driving my 1975 Corvette: I don't listen to music because A) Can't hear it over the headers anyway. B)the car doesn't have a radio, C) the car itself sounds so freaking awesome!

I am actually considering selling the sentra and getting a sunfire... it wouldn't be quite as neat as having the Corvette Camaro and Cav, but the camaro is for sale anyway.

The music I listen to can affect the way I drive. I can find myself on the interstate doing 90+ and not even know till I look at the speedo.

Re: Does the music you listen to depend on the car you drive?

When I drive, I'm always listening to classic rock and some metal. I have a problem with the stock speakers rattling the cheap plastic door panels, its pretty bad. My speakers cired when I put my Pantera mix CD in.

Re: Does the music you listen to depend on the car you drive?

I was driving an Eldorado for a year or so and I was turning into an old man or sumthin. Oldies and news. Imagine me ... driving my Eldo listening to Paul Harvey!!! Goooood Daay!!
Anyways, I have reverted to banging my head in all my Chevys.
